I began singing at the age of three.  When  I was five I was on the Ted Mack amateur hour (the America’s got talent of the 1050’s).  I started studying  classical private voice in seventh grade.  By the time I got to High School, I was in Choir, Dance, & Madrigals.  In my Junior and Senior years I had the lead in HMS Pinafore and Brigadoon.   My teacher was terrific, and she prepared me well for scholarship tryouts of which I won 5 for college.   I attended Southwestern college in Kansas and when I returned to Chicago, I sang sometimes with the singing models and also sang at a supper club called Sorini’s.  I have taught private voice and piano over the years and currently teach at the YMCA. Throughout my life I have sung for many church services, weddings, and special parties but the most fun has been with the YBB for the past eight years.
