10th year in Yorkville Big Band

Victor Anderson is the C.U.S.D. #115 Music Department Chair and Director of Bands at Yorkville High School, Yorkville, Illinois.  He has previously taught at Jacobs High School in Algonquin, Illinois, Galesburg School District 205 in Galesburg, Illinois, and Community Unit School District 201 in Aledo, Illinois.  As an educator, he has been a clinician at numerous high schools throughout Illinois and has been guest conductor for the I.M.E.A. District IX Senior Jazz and District II Junior Jazz Festivals.  As a performer, Mr. Anderson continues to play with various community ensembles.  Mr. Anderson received his Bachelors of Music Education at Illinois Wesleyan University in 1997 and his Masters of Music Education from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign in 2000.  In addition he completed the Education Leadership Program through Aurora University in 2007.  Victor currently resides with his wife Alison and three children, Emilia, Michael, and Benjamin in North Aurora, Illinois.

This is the 1st dance of our 24th years of big band dancing.

Dance Lesson with Patricia Ray, 6  to 7 pm. 21 piece Yorkville Big Band, 7 to 9:00pm. $10pp. Under 18, $5.
